So I'm reading trying to come up with something to post, because I have been having writers block. So I'm searching the web and I come across this topic Born Again Virgin, and the reason why it interest me is because we were just talking about this at work..(I know interesting work talk huh??) Well it came up because a co worker said she had been Celibate for 2 yrs. Another co worker said "you're a born again Virgin" So me with my mouth said First off she hasn't been born again, and once you have sex that's it, you are no longer a Virgin, period.
So let me get into why I feel this way. Well first of all it's a fact a Virgin is someone who has not had sexual intercourse. That's pretty to the point. Now if you decide to become Celibate, meaning you are not engaging in sex, that's good for you, but you are not a Virgin! There is no way that you could be. It's not like you can turn back the time, and reverse all the sexual escapades you were in, or like you can give back all those amazing feelings you have during sex. There is not way you can now cut your connections to the people you let embrace you, and caress you and penetrate you or that you penetrated. Sex is not a trial run, like oh I'm gonna have sex for a while and see how this plays out then, and if it doesn't work the way you want it, you can automatically be a Virgin again....
But that' just how I feel, what do I know...

ReplyDeleteCelibacy & "born again Virgin" (as reading up on it) ARE Two diff things.
Guess, Celibacy..is 'surposed' to be for LIFE. Making a choice to be celibate has been broken down in 'genres'..movtivating them to WHY they will NOT have sex again..(as long as they live?)
As to:Born again Virgins make a commitment NOT be sexually active until marriage or some other point in there future. Major diff from the Two, but u'r RIGHT..'She Aint No Virgin!' (in my Judge Karen's voice..lol)
but when she said "I have been Celibate for 2 yrs", did she know or explain WHY? cause she coulda been defining her situation wrong. The other co-worker COULD be right...
She juz very well may be "A Born Again Virgin"..refraining from Sex until she is ready to PHUCK again (lol!)
but what she 'shoulda said' was "I'M CELIBATE. PERIOD". (no 2yrs about it)
Celibacy is for LIFE...BORN AGAIN is 'Planning for da Future'.
Well, I think it was just a nicer way of saying "I ain't fucking right now"...it's no big deal to me, if someone says that. What DOES get on my nerves is when chicks play the role EVERYTIME they break up with a guy...I'm a "born again virgin" (until I find someone to kick it with)...some women are truly being celibate (withholding from having sex) until they are in a committed long term relationship. that's commendable that they would take the time to get to know someone before they complicate their feelings with lust (or good D)...some people are just afraid of being hurt so they don't have a time limit or other requirements as to when they will have sex again...My mother's ex was killed and she hasn't had sex in 9 years...DAMN...but I would call her a born again virgin...it isn't by choice (like virginity) its just they it is too awkward for her to get back into...oan - she is convinced that all men have something - hahahahahahaha
